Dee Dee Chamblee, activist and founder of LaGender, a 2016 TJFP grant recipient, is being honored for her HIV activism. Chamblee founded LaGender, an organization in Georgia, that provides resources for the transgender community as well as educational trainings for people working with or providing services to trans individuals.
